OLYMPIC-RELATED ACTIVITIES IN LOS ANGELES

 

Thursday, August 7 -- Please join Los Angeles Friends of Tibet and the Tibetan Association of Southern California as we participate in a worldwide candlelight vigil for Tibet! We will gather at 8 PM Thursday, August 7, on the beach beside the Santa Monica Pier. Details on the global effort can be found at http://candle4tibet.ning.com. Friday, August 8 – Protest in front of Chinese Consulate with LAFOT, TASC and Chinese democracy activists from 3 to 6 PM

 

August 23-24 (North America Mass Convergence) – Tibetans and Tibet supporters from all over North America will converge in San Francisco and New  York City for rallies, marches, vigils and speeches.
